WORK EXPERIENCE

Elon News Network (Copy Chief):       October 2018-Present

• Managing a team of about ten copy editors to edit approximately twenty articles per semester produced in a school newspaper and in an online website 
• Designing and editing the school newspaper with Adobe Indesign, which includes eleven pages of newspaper content 
• Collaborated with Elon Local News to proofread and edit scripts for their online shows

Elon University Writing Center (Consultant):             September 2018-Present

• Responsible for working four hours a week to help students proofread and edit their academic work whether it’s class papers, resumes, or cover letters
• Responsible for assisting faculty with their professional works and research
• Tutoring approximately 8 students a week in using proper citations such as APA, MLA and Chicago
